Apple: Start Something New

Apple Stores, world-wide - 31st December 14 - 1st March 15

I was commissioned by Apple to create a series of portraits using the iPad Air 2 and Procreate app. The Start Something New campaign was designed to promote creativity using Apple products. The final pieces of art were exhibited in hundreds of Apple Stores around the world as well as on Apple.com

Every piece in this gallery was created on an Apple product. Every brushstroke, every pixel, and every frame of film was brought to life with talented Apple users from around the world. As you explore their work, we hope it inspires you to create something new.

The five portraits created were of the interesting people I see whilst working at the University of Chichester.

IMMINENT

Otter Gallery, Chichester, UK - 16 May - 20 June 2014

This exhibition features the diverse and eclectic work of students approaching the completion of their Masters level Fine Art studies at the University of Chichester.

The exhibition llustrates how the students have used the manipulation of materials and the honing of techniques to demonstrate their conceptual ideas and how they recognise and respond to key phases of development within their work.

In revealing how material practice and critical awareness are used to focus ideas, Imminent gives a fascinating insight into how each student has developed a practical research methodology that locates, questions and refines their individual interests.

The artists taking part are Sophia Alexander-James, Sue Gardner, Roz Hall, Linda Nevill, Julia Margaron Oak, Alison Stewart, Kimberley Thompson and Tanya Wood. They work in diverse media including drawing, textiles, painting, video, sculpture, collage and installation.

An artist Q&A will take place 2-3pm on 28th May.

Not to mention professional illustrators, animators, designers and directors."
